Shivani tops dance contest

A talent hunt — Sur Sangam 2017 — was organised for BEd students at Dronacharya PG College of Education in Rait today.

Solo dance, solo song, group dance and ‘rangoli’ competitions were the attractions of the day. In the ‘rangoli’ competition, the Tagore house bagged the first position, while Radhakrishnan house and Kalam house got the second and third positions, respectively.

In the solo dance competition, Shivani of the Tagore house stood first, Praveen of the Kalam house second, and Deepika of the Kalam house third.

In the solo song competition, Rohit won the first position, whereas Deepika Negi and Amit Khan secured the second and third positions, respectively.

In the group dance competition, Deepika and group stood first, whereas Nitiz and group and Nitika and group bagged the second and third positions, respectively.
