“Sukh Ram created political uncertainty for his son Anil Sharma, who was power minister in the BJP Government. The act of Sukh Ram harmed the sentiments of the people of Mandi district. It is right time the voters gave him befitting reply in these Lok Sabha elections by defeating his grandson Ashray Sharma from Mandi seat with a huge margin of votes”, said the Chief Minister.

“The BJP never bothered about one family as the party focused on the entire nation. Now people of Mandi parliamentary constituency have decided to support the BJP candidate Ram Swaroop Sharma, who is honest and hardworking”, he added.

The Chief Minister also targeted Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri by saying that “he was using improper words against me during election campaign in Mandi. The remarks of the Opposition leader are wrong that I was focusing on the development of Seraj only.”

He said the state government is focusing on equal development across the state without any bias. Development projects worth crores were approved for each Assembly segment of the state by his government. Due to that the BJP is getting huge support from people across the state in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He urged the voters to support BJP candidate Ram Swaroop Sharma in the elections.

Around 285 families joined the BJP on the occasion. On Sunday morning, the Chief Minister addressed a public rally at Nirmand of Kullu district in favour of Ram Swaroop.
