Shimla, November 3
The three-day Techno and Cultural Fest 2K18 of the University Institute of Technology (UIIT), Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, today commenced at the auditorium here.
Chairman, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), Chandigarh, DK Sharma, who was the chief guest, launched a UIIT app, developed by Sidharth Sood, B.Tech student, and Utkarsh Fest website, jointly created by Sahil Puri and Aditya Sood, both students.
Appreciating the talent and technical performances presented by the UIIT students, Sharma exhorted them to play their role for the development of the nation and be the excellent engineers in their life. Dean, Students Welfare, HPU, Prof. Kamaljeet Singh, highlighted the achievements of the UIIT students and motivated them to perform better in life. Director (UIIT) Prof PL Sharma spoke about the excellent technical performance and the hard-working nature of the UIITians.
