‘Yog Utsav’ ends at Banikhet

A week-long mega ‘Yog Utsav’, organised by the Yog Manav Vikas Trust (YMVT), concluded at Banikhet near here on Tuesday. Former NHPC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Yogendra Prasad was the chief guest.

Narmada Hydro Development Corporation (NHDC) AG Ansari, NHPC executive director Rupak Jain and Chamba SP Dr Monika Bhutunguru, Dalhousie Public School chairman Dr (Capt) GS Dhillon were the guests of honour.

In his keynote address, Prasad counted numerous development units taken up by the NHPC in Chamba district during his tenure. He appreciated the efforts of the trust for various social development works.

As many as 500 students participated in an inter-school competition on the theme of ‘Yog Se Aarogya’ and the winners were given prizes.
