Himkaran Duggal won the first prize in long jump while Rabnoor Kaur won in the girls’ category of the same event during the three-day annual athletics meet of The Millennium School, which started at the Sports Complex, Sector 7, Chandigarh, today.

The meet started with a march past by students. On the first day, boys and girls took part in long jump, triple jump, medicine ball throw, hurdle race and high jump.

In medicine ball throw, Abhiraj Singh Arora took the lead in the boys’ category while Gauri Arora won in the girls’ category. In standing board jump, Avika Singh, Noorjot Kaur Baidwan and Nehpreet Kaur Narwal bagged the first, second and third positions, respectively .
