Yami Gautam, who was last seen in Kaabil and Sarkar 3, is all set to work with Shahid Kapoor. The actress will play the second female lead in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. Yami took to her social media to confirm the news. The actress wrote, “Super happy to commence this special journey with @kriarj on ‘ Batti Gul Meter Chalu ‘ :) Really excited for this one #Prerna #Shree @shahidkapoor @ShraddhaKapoor” Reportedly, Yami will be seen as a lawyer in the film. This will be the first movie of Yami with Shahid Kapoor. The film will be extensively shot in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Mussoorie, & Nainital.
