Jammu: IndiGo, India’s largest and fastest growing carrier, opened a fully-equipped gym for the police officers in Jammu on Sunday. The gym has been set up within the office premises of the local police station near the Jammu airport. Appreciating the efforts, Dr SD Singh, Jammu IGP, said, “On behalf of my team, I thank IndiGo leadership for translating this idea into a reality and envisioning the police personnel as partners to promote this fitness awareness around.” tns

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
