The CBI today registered a case to probe the murder of Sheena Bora in Maharashtra. The case was registered against Sheena’s mother Indrani Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shamwar Pinturam Rai. They are in judicial custody and a Maharashtra court has extended their custody till October 5.

The investigating agency has taken over the case of on the request of the state government and notification from the Centre.
