We had earlier reported that most likely Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will be playing the lead actress in Marathi film Sairat’s Hindi remake by Karan Johar.

And we hear Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother has been approached to play the main lead.

Apparently, the script is being modified to suit the Hindi audience and Karan is yet to narrow down on a director. When quizzed about the project, Ishan’s mother Neelima Azeem told, “It would be wrong to talk about his debut. The makers have their plans of making an announcement. Ishaan has his entire career in front of him.”
