A fruitful journey

Dhruv Singh, who is currently essaying the role of Vinod Khanna in SAB TV’S Saheb Biwi Aur Boss, is receiving a lot of appreciation from the viewers. He shares excerpts from his journey so far.

How do you feel on completion of 100 episodes of Saheb Biwi Aur Boss?

It feels great. In fact, it’s been such a great honour to work with the entire cast and crew of Saheb Biwi Aur Boss. I am also grateful to SAB TV for giving me this platform.

How much do you relate to Vinod, the character that you’re playing?

I can completely relate to the character of Vinod. It comes naturally to me. In fact, I feel am happy that Benaifer Kohli and Sanjay Kohli gave me this role.

Who is your favourite co-star?

Vipul Roy. It’s an honour to work with him. I’ve learnt so much from him. It’s been a great journey overall.

What changes do you find in the industry?

TV as a medium has grown. Television actors are doing films and film actors doing television. Audiences are sharp and love to see new stuff. Daily soaps are like dal chawal, which is wanted daily.

What is your take on reality shows?

I am open to reality shows. They lend instant recognition and are unpredictable. I would like to do a dance-based show like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
