After Priyanka, Preeti goes international

After successful stint by Priyanka Chopra internationally with her ABC show Quantico, now, it’s time for another Bollywood actress’s debut in the international TV series.

Shor In The City and One By Two, starrer Preeti Desai, has been signed on in a lead role for the upcoming HBO series Gods and Secrets. It’s an action drama that explores the darker side of a world filled with superheroes.

Adi Shankar, the director of the TV series says, “I flew to India and screen tested several top Bollywood actors, I was unimpressed and was about to change the ethnicity of the role until Preeti Desai walked into the casting office.”

Preeti will be starring alongside some huge names like Denise Richards, Jane Seymour, Twilight heartthrobs Kellan Lutz & Jackson Rathbone, and Breaking Bad alumni RJ Mitte.
