After his stint with reality shows, Ashmit Patel is all set to debut in the fiction space with Farhn P. Zamma and Asif Sheikh’s Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma.. He will enter the show as an underworld don, after it takes a leap of 15 years. Ashmit said, “I have been offered shows on television, but I didn’t want to be part of an infinite series as they are not script-bound. I can’t dedicate my entire life doing just one project.” When asked if his character is inspired by Dawood Ibrahim, he replies, “I haven’t been told that. Nor have I been prepping up for the part keeping anyone in mind.” The show was in the news recently when protagonist Raina Joshi quit. However, Ashmit has no apprehensions of joining the show mid-way.
