Star Plus’ new show Tu Mera Hero, the story of Titu and Panchi - two unusual people with different ideas about life who ended up with each other – is all set to replace popular series Ek Hasina Thi this December. The makers have put in considerable amount of energy in perfecting the script, look and feel of the show. Such was the passion for perfection that the makers changed the directors three times over to get the best for the series.
The initial ten episodes of Tu Mera Hero have been shot by Shashant Shah, director of Challo Dilli and Dasvidaniya, but he has now being replaced by Rakesh Kumar who has earlier directed Sasural Genda Phool. A source tells us that the director of Diya Aur Baati Hum, Rohit Raj Goyal was also being considered for the show but that deal didn’t work out. And now, the show is shaping up to be unlike any other on Indian television with its unique storytelling and unusual characters!
Tu Mera Hero is an unconventional love story between Titu and Panchi. Titu is a super-lazy, affable boy who wants to live a stress-free life. But despite his laid-back demeanour, he is quite charming and popular. Titu played by Priyanshu Jora is a hero unlike any other; especially to Panchi, the girl next door and a hopeless romantic, played by Sonia Balani. These two are surely going to take the country by surprise and make the hearts of the audience melt with their super-cute and adorable chemistry.
