Fawad is here again

Zindagi now presents a romantic-comedy, Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha, starring Fawad Khan, Sanam Baloch, Ayesha Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar. The show, which premiered on February 1, explores the trials and tribulations faced by new immigrants, the class divide and the harsh realities of life. Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha marks the reunion of the creative team, part of the super-hit show Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam, where the famous trio of Fawad, Sanam and director Haissam Hussain made history with a gripping story set against the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. This time, the team comes together to create magic on the small screen with a light-hearted drama series that revolves around the lives of four pivotal characters —Mujtaba (Fawad), Kiran (Sanam), Daniez (Ayesha) and Shamrez (Mikaal).

Fawad’s character Mujtaba is that of a Pakistani computer engineer who dreams of making it big abroad by, taking over his uncle’s thriving business and marrying his cousin Daniez. On his arrival in America, he is shocked by the cultural divide and the way his uncle’s family, including his cousin Daniez, treats him. The show will be telecast from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm on Zindagi.
