I feel extremely blessed that Siya Ke Ram happened to me. Portraying Sita has changed me as a person as well. I am glad I got to make a TV debut with such a show.

How would you describe the experience of playing the iconic character of Sita?

It has been a marvellous journey till now. Playing Sita in itself is an incredible experience. The most challenging scenes were when I had to reincarnate as Kaali Maa in one of the dream sequences. One of my biggest challenges is to be like Sita and justify my role.

What are the teachings of Sita that you have imbibed?

Not only me, but everyone associated with the show has a lot to learn from Sita. Firstly, her strong and fearless personality will be inspiring for the years to come. Her selfless nature has made me more giving in my personal life.

How does it feel to shoot at various outdoor locations?

It is wonderful. From Darjeeling, Bhutan, Bhuj, Mumbai to Hyderabad, the cast and crew has been travelling everywhere. The thing I like the most about outdoor shoots is that everything looks so realistic.
