Digangana Suryavanshi, who is best remembered for the title role of Veera and was also seen in Bigg Boss, is a poet, lyricist, and a novelist too. She says, “The first time I said something like a song and asked Maa to write it for me, I was 5 years old! At 10, I could write myself, on my 15th birthday my first book of lyrics came out Waves the Endless Emotions and then at 16 my first novel Nixie the mermaid and the power of love came.”

The actress adds, “Writing is like a daily thing for me. It’s something that can’t be learned, but the clearest expressions are songs, scripts, novels... I just love putting down what I see, feel and understand in different ways. It gives me peace and an opportunity to think about things that I probably wouldn’t otherwise. Besides, singing makes me happy and music really has a strong impression on me. I did music albums at 10. These two are extremely close to me as acting.”
