Soon after Beyoncé, aged 35, on Thursday, released a slew of photos of herself posing pregnant and nude (a day after announcing she was expecting twins with her husband, rapper Jay-Z), the photos, posted on website beyonce.com have now gone viral. But that’s not all. Several of her pictures, including a black-and-white nude photo, topless shots and others in which she wears lingerie, have given way to memes and trolls, even to an extent that a sitcom is making a parody about the pictures.

Ellen Pompeo, who will make her directorial debut by helming an episode of the show Grey’s Anatomy, teamed up with co-star Camilla Luddington to spoof the singer’s maternity photo shoot, reportedly. The True Blood star Camilla took to Instagram and posted a video of the parody, “We can’t help but act a fool #welovebeyonce filmed and directed by @therealdebbieallen @camillaluddington @hairtheshaway #greysanatomy.” The real shoot was done by the show’s star and director Debbie Ellen. In the video Pompeo says, “This is amazing. You are pregnant at the same time as Beyoncé. When is that ever going to happen again, Camilla?” Luddington can be seen looking a bit uncomfortable as she says, “I just feel a little bit weird. Don’t you think you’re taking this directing thing too far?” to which Ellen replies, “No, you look amazing. You’re glowing.” At the end, a short black veil is dumped on her as she continues to feel weird. —ANI

Grammy winning singer John Legend says that Beyonce Knowles’ pregnancy is a “beautiful thing” at his Super Bowl commercial launch party for LIFEWTR in Houston, Texas, on Friday. “I’m happy for them. It’s a beautiful thing. They already know that though. They already have a wonderful daughter, they know what it feels like, and I’m excited for them,” he said. Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen, with whom he shares nine-month-old daughter Luna, also congratulated the “Formation” hit-maker on Twitter. —IANS
