According to sources, a year since the inception of the show, actor Faisal Rashid, who plays Suresh (protagonist Sriti Jha's onscreen ex-fiancé) has quit Kumkum Bhagya. Sources say that Faisal was neither happy with his role, nor the amount of money he was getting for his work. Buzz is that now Alokk Narula has stepped in to play the part of Faisal Rashid.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
