Please shed some light on the new twist in Meri Saasu Maa?

I play a double role in the show and enter as Roop, who has struggled her way up and managed to find her foothold in the dance bars of Mumbai. I also play an NRI from London. There will be a love triangle between me, Hiba Nawab, and Pearl V. Puri amidst all the high voltage drama.

Tell us about your character?

My role into the new track has negative shades. To add some drama my character will create tension between the lead stars.

Do you think Roop will go down well with the viewers?

I hope the viewers will like my character. I have impressed them earlier with my performances in the shows. I really love to experiment with positive and negative characters.

Is this character going to be a challenge for you?

My character is a big challenge for me but I assure the viewers that I am here up for it to do my best.

How is working with the Mumtaz Saba Production and the channel?

Mumtaz Saba is a very good writer and always does something different. She is the master story teller on the small screen. With Zee this is my third show and now it is like a family to me.

How is your bonding with the co-stars?

Pearl Puri and Hiba Nawab are very talented and professional actors. They are very supportive on the sets. I have a great bond with them and we all share a very good relation with each other.
