Star Plus’s newly-launched show, Phir Bhi Naa Maane…Badtameez Dil has been garnering rave reviews from the audience for its unique storyline and the feel of the show. Even the actors are completely involved in their characters and suggest changes as and when required. One such actor who took keen interest in her look is the lead, Asmita Sood.

Asmita who plays the role of Meher is a huge fan of Deepika Padukone, hence when her college look was being discussed, Asmita decided to ape her favorite actress and suggested a geeky look inspired by Naina Talwar, Deepika’ character from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Both Naina and Meher are shown to be geeky college girls, engrossed in their books hence even Meher will be seen wearing nerdy glasses, dresses with a shrug and a hair band replicating Naina Talwar completely.

To this Asmita said, “I really look up to Deepika as an actor. My character from the younger days is that of a geek, and as I loved YJHD, I suggested the makers to keep my look close to Naina Talwar. Just like Naina, you will see me wear glasses, dresses with a shrug and a similar haircut".
