The historic Indian film Baahubali, after dominating the big screen, is now all set to dominate the small screen. The magnum opus will be turned into a TV series soon. The writer of the epic script, KV Vijayendra Prasad, father of Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, has revealed that he has started working on the script to turn the two-part epic drama into a television series, which will be on the lines of Game of Thrones.
Apparently, this would not be like any other TV series. It would be spread over various seasons and made on the grand scales of American cult television show Game of Thrones. A season in TV shows is like a bunch of episodes that will run for a period of time and will take a break for some time and will again return with a new group of episodes.
Recently, writer Vijayendra said, “It will take more time for me to develop the characters and plot to suit the TV series.” Vijayendra is also ready with the second part of the epic series, a most-anticipated film of 2017, Baahubali: The Conclusion. The movie, which stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, will hit cinema halls in April 2017.
