Deepika Singh of Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum has made her journey from being a girl-next-door to becoming a bahu, and then an IPS officer. Now, after proving herself as an ideal bahu, Sandhya is on a mission to become an ideal wife. As the show moves to the next track, Sandhya has given up her job to dedicate time to take care of Sooraj, who is paralyzed.

Recently, for a sequence in the show Deepika had to make laddoos. While she had to make them in the show to help her reel-husband run his business, she also ended up making one for her real husband, Rohit Goyal. “Yes, I made laddoos on the show, and also had to make some for Rohit. He actually called and told me to bring some home when I told him what the shooting line-up was,” said Deepika.
