“Imagine what life would be without friends! I am really blessed to have some amazing people in my life. My best friend, Varsha, has always stood by me in my ups and downs. She is in Jaipur on Friendship Day this year, so once she is back I will spend time with her. As a kid, I used to tell my mother to buy chocolates and friendship bands for my friends.”

“On this day we celebrate the bond that we share with close friends, the bond of closeness, protection, faith, trust and companionship. These are the most important things in a friendship. As one grows up, it is not necessary that one has thousands of friends but that one friend who actually understands! Friendship Day doesn’t mean that we have to do something grand and huge. Even a simple dinner or lunch is great.”
