Taher Shabbir, who played the role of Viraj in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, has quit the show. After being paired opposite Nisha on the show, there was a buzz that their poor chemistry led to alleged drop in ratings. Later when his character returned after a brief hiatus, it began turning negative. He didn’t like that, apparently, so decided to leave. It remains to be seen who will be replacing the actor.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
