J&K Bank opens counter at Vaishno Devi shrine area

On the eve of Navratras, the J&K Bank’s business unit in Vaishno Devi opened its cash currency and note exchange counter for the public in the shrine area.

The counter was inaugurated by Anshul Garg, Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Subdivisional Magistrate, Bhawan, Jagdish Singh and Tehsildar, Bhawan, Duni Chand, were also present.

The new counter will be offering fresh currency and note exchange facility to the devotees coming here from various parts of the country. Anshul Garg lauded the role of the bank in the economic uplift of people, especially the weaker sections of the state.

Garg also conveyed his gratitude to the bank management and the Reserve Bank of India, Jammu, for facilitating the devotees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.
