46 get training in equine husbandry

Jammu, July 11

The Army under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ conducted an ‘Equine Training Course’ under the aegis of HQ 71 Sub-Area at Udhampur from June 5 to July 8.

The course was conducted for students of Bachelors of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology, Jammu.

A total of 46 interns were trained through this course to acquire technical expertise on finer aspects of equine husbandry, treatment and management, including exposure to various diagnostic techniques to augment the therapeutic and diagnostic skills of budding veterinarians of the state. — TNS
