Dilapidated roads

I would like to draw the attention of the administration, especially the roads and buildings department, towards the dilapidated roads in Anand Nagar, Bohri. It has been years since blacktopping was done here. Whenever we approach officials concerned to repair the road, they just give assurances, but nothing is done. Thousands of people living in the area are facing problems as the place turns into a cesspool during rains. Surinder Krishan Bhat, Anand Nagar

Traffic rules violated

Traffic mess in Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar and the surrounding areas is a known fact but violation of rules by drivers is making the situation worse. At many places where the traffic police have installed ‘no parking’ signboards, lack of parking space is making commuters ignore these warnings. The city needs comprehensive traffic management along with infrastructure development. Kabir Manhas, Nai Basti
