KAS officer wins ‘Best Citizen of India Award’

Jammu resident Kusum Badyal, a 1999-batch KAS officer, has brought laurels to the state as The International Publishing House has conferred her with ‘The Best Citizen of India Award-2017’, for her literary work and social service.
Badyal is the Additional Inspector General of Registration. She received the award through postal services. She has to her credit 27 research publications (both in national and international journals) and 13 Hindi stories in a monthly magazine, ‘Chander Bhaga’.

Nowadays, she, along with her daughter, is involved in social services like helping injured animalsand needy human beings. Badyal has earlier bagged many awards like the Rashtriya Gaurav Award. — TNS
