Katra varsity startup comes third at UP conclave

Jammu: Flydex Automobiles, a startup sponsored by the Technology Business Incubation Centre, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, bagged the third prize at the UP Startup Conclave-2018. The event was held at IIM-Lucknow and jointly organised by the UP Government, Startup India and the Lucknow Management Association. The Technology Business Incubation Centre startup bagged a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh. Of the 426 startups under the product and ideation stage category, Akash Srivastava’s startup, who is also an alumnus of the university, reached the final round. Flydex demonstrated its patented product ‘CarbaDex’ which increases efficiency of 125cc bike average up to 150 km/l without affecting the engine performance and life. tns
