JAMMU: Adviser to Governor Farooq Khan today called for imparting moral education in schools.

Jammu, September 3

Adviser to Governor Farooq Khan today called for imparting moral education in schools. “To build a strong nation, a sense of patriotism, social services, character building and leadership qualities must be developed among children in schools,” Khan said in his inaugural address at the 44th annual day function of Balgran - A charitable home for destitute children here at Channi Rama.

He urged the management of the school to remove the destitute word as the inmates were the children of the country, adding that it was a glimpse of true India where irrespective of cast, creed and region, the management was giving love and affection to these children. Earlier, president of the School AK Khajuria highlighted the achievements of students. He said the students of the school had attained 100 per cent results in Classes VIII and X Board exams, the results of which were declared in 2019. — TNS
