RAJOURI: A two-week workshop on faculty development programme on machine learning began at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) on Monday.

A two-week workshop on faculty development programme on machine learning began at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) on Monday.

Dr Qamar Rayees Khan, head of the department of computer sciences, presented a welcome address and highlighted the objective of the workshop.

He said the department would offer a one-year advanced diploma in machine learning from the coming academic session. Dr Ashfaq Ahmad Zarri, Registrar, said more such programmes should be conducted on a regular basis. — OC
