16-year-old girl dies of snake bite

Talwara (Hoshiarpur), June 14

A 16-year-old student of Class XII Kajal Sharma, daughter of Ashok Sharma, died of the snake bite in Sukhwainpur village of Talwara.Kajal Sharma was alone with her grandmother at home.

In the afternoon, her health began to worsen. When, Kajal’s elder sister returned home, she found that Kajal was badly sweating. On this, he pleaded with the neighbours for help. She was taken to Bhol Hospital where the doctor told them to take her to Talwara. When they reached Talwara, the doctors told them to take her to some specialty hospital in view of her serious condition but she died on her way. According to doctors, her whole body had turned blue and there were marks of snake bite on her leg. — OC
