From both British Olivia School and Sanskriti KMV Schools 21 students got CGPA 10, from Shiv Jyoti Public School 16, from Innocent Hearts School Loharan, 14, from Gurukul School, 13, from CJS Public School, nine, from Manav Sehyog School 9, Mahavir Jain Public Schools, eight, from La Blossoms School, seven, from Mayor World School and Apeejay School, Rama Mandi and from SBS Sadarpur six, and from St Soldier Divine Public School (Bhogpur and Ladhewali branches) four, each, bagged 10 CGPA in the district.

Among these schools itself, the total number of students bagging 10 CGPA was 388.

Notably, the total number of students in the district securing CGPA 10 – ever since the CGPA system started, has seen a dramatic rise this year. While last year, the total students grabbing CGPA 10 was a bit over 250, this year the number has almost touched 400. The collective number of students who had CGPA 10 in the district last year totalled a little over 250.

While there has also been a rise in the number of students taking the class X exams of the CBSE, there has also been an increase in the number of CGPA 10 students per school. While the top school last year had a little over 30 students, this year the top school has over 64.

This year has also seen a comeback of some schools which were lying low in the past years. While last year Police DAV produced most CGPA 10 positions, this year it is second after Innocent Hearts, Model Town – which did not do as well last year. Some relatively lesser known schools also beat some big brand schools in the city attaining better results.

While from Police DAV School, 446 students had appeared, from Innocent Hearts Model Town 209 appeared, from MGN Public School 225, from Apeejay School 248 appeared, from DPS 134, from Swami Sant Das 158, from British Olivia merely 56 (of whom 21 got 10 CGPA).
