3 more cheating cases in Class X exam

Jalandhar, March 30

Three cheating cases were detected during the mathematics exam of the Xth standard held here today.

Ten flying squad teams visited 48 schools of the district and three cases of cheating were detected. Formerly, 10 cases of cheating had taken place in the Xth exams and today’s cases take the tally to13.

While two of the said cases were from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nihaluwal, one was from Government Senior Secondary School, Lohian.

Notably, in the XII the standard examinations in the district, as many as 16 cases of cheating had been caught. While nine cases of cheating were found during the first exam – general English - on February 28, one case of cheating was detected during the political science, business studies, physics exam on March 4 and six cases were caught during the general Punjabi exam on March 11.
