Though the PB-08 series has been done till PB-08-DB level only, the PB-90 series has already got launched. SDM-2 Paramvir Singh said: “I cannot say anything about that for it is up to the state Transport Department to decide about the timing of rolling out of a new series.”

The department is still unsure if the auctions would get materialised. “The bidders have 21 days to make the payment after closing of the bid. Hence, we have to wait for three weeks to see if all payments are made,” the SDM said. — TNS
