AAP youth wing takes out anti-drug rally

Jalandhar, May 29

Yugpurush Dr BR Ambedkar Jagriti Manch headed by Pawan Hans today held a rally against drugs from Bhagwan Valmiki Bhawan at the 120 ft road.

The rally was taken out on scooters and bikes. The rally was flagged off by Pawan Malhotra. Malhotra warned youngsters against the ill effects of drugs. He said, “Youngsters will have to bust the menace of drugs from its roots.”

On the occasion, Rajkumar Hans, SC Commissioner, Punjab, said to end the poison of drugs youngsters should help the administration and police.

Pawan Hans said rallies like these would be held in all constituencies of the district. During this rally, Ram Thapar, Sushil Malhotra, Mohan Lal Loharan, sarpanch Mahinder Singh, Babu Lohaan and Bhupinder Hans were present.

The youth wing of the Aam Aadmi Party also held a march titled ‘Logo Jago Nashe Tyago’ in Jalandhar cantonment near the sabzi mandi area. HS Walia along with many Aam Aadmi Party volunteers participated in it.

Walia apprised all of the menace of drug addiction and its harms.
