After nearly a gap of a decade, the tableaux showcasing the flagship schemes of the state government will be an important part of the I-Day celebrations this year.

The trend of showcasing tableaux was stopped after the renovation of Guru Gobind Singh Stadium. The stadium was re-built in such a way that the tableaux could not turn at sharp turns and edges that came out due to the fencing in front of the stands. Now that CM Capt Amarinder Singh is scheduled to unfurl the national flag, the administration has again planned to take out an exhibition of the departments.
