Another Volvo bus for Delhi

The Punjab Roadways Depot No. 1 has added one more Volvo bus in its fleet to the Capital. There are already 10 Volvo buses of the roadways to New Delhi.

The bus will leave Jalandhar at 7.50 pm from the bus stand everyday and reach the Delhi bus stand in seven hours. Similarly, the bus will leave the Delhi bus stand at 9.20 am. Speaking to Jalandhar Tribune, Harjinder Singh Minhas, Punjab Roadways Depot No. 1 GM, said the services of heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) buses had been stopped and the Punjab Roadways had launched Super Deluxe buses for the comfort of passengers. Apart from these buses, two AC buses have already been directly plying to Indira Gandhi International Airport. —TNS
