Approach genuine travel agents: SDM

Phagwara: Sumit Mudh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Phagwara, held a meeting with officials, residents and travel agents here on Thursday. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate and ASP Sandip Malik appealed to people to adopt genuine way to go abroad. They advised people to rely on registered travel agents only.

They urged the travel agents to follow the rules to send any person abroad and not indulge in duping innocent people. Both inspired youth to adopt sports and not to fall in trap of drugs. They asked the youth to make use of their valuable life and not waste it under the influence of drugs.

They said the civil and police administration would launch a campaign against the drug menace and fake travel agents.—OC
