Athletics meet

Jalandhar: The department of physical education and games of Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised an annual athletics meet. Track events, including 100-m, 200-m, relay race, 4×100 mt, 4×400 mt, lemon spoon race, three- legged race, musical chair, shot put, long jump, tug-of-war were organised on the occasion.  Principal of the college, Dr Sucharita felicitated the winners and appreciated the faculty members for organising the event. BFA Semester-VII

Jalandhar: Tanya of BFA (Semester-VII) of  Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won the first position in the GNDU exam. She secured 560/600 marks. Principal Dr Ajay Sareen congratulated faculty members Neeru Bharti, Dr Rakhi Mehta, among others. Manpreet Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, bagged the first position in the university exam of BVoc (printing technology, Sem 1) by getting 311/  400, whereas Shallu got the second position position by getting 303 marks and Sukhjinderjit bagged the third position by getting 281 marks in the same class. Principal of the college, Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra and president of the college governing council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students. Dr Manohar Singh, HoD, the department of computer science and IT was present. TNS
