‘Bambukat’ all set to hit theatres

The first ever Punjabi film, Bambukat, made on the issue 'colour-biased' attitude among the people of region, while choosing a girl for marriage, is all set to release on July 29.

While addressing the media persons here today, renowned Punjabi film actor , Binnu Dhillon said the narrative depic s story of two sisters, who get married on basis of their skin colour. The girl with fair complexion gets married to an officer, who has Bambukat, literal meaning of motorbike, and other girl having dark complexion gets married to poor farmer. 

The film has been written by Jass Grewal and directed by Pankaj Batra.

He said dialogues were the USP of the film. It was really fun time to work on this project. “I am looking forward to a milestone in my career with this work. People are definitely going to connect with each scene of the film,” he said.
