Former Vidhan Sabha speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal today took out a roadshow before filing his papers as the SAD candidate from the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat.

Atwal was accompanied by party leaders, including MLAs Pawan Tinu, Baldev Khaira and Gurpartap Wadala. BJP leaders, including former MLAs Manoranjan Kalia and KD Bhandari and former Mayor Sunil Jyoti, were among those who campaigned on a truck.

The roadshow started from Burlton Park, moved past Patel Chowk, Jyoti Chowk and PNB Chowk to reach the District Administrative Complex.
