Cast of ‘Ramta Jogi’ comes calling to city

Renowned Bollywood director Guddu Dhanoa has come up with a second Punjabi feature film ‘Ramta Jogi’ which is all set to release on August 14. The movie has been done in collaboration with Vijayta Films.

Guddu is known for giving talent a name and again he is introducing two new faces in the industry, Deep Sidhu and Ronica Singh.

The film has been produced by Vijay Singh Dhanoa and has been mentored by Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The team of the film was in the town today for promotions.

The story and screenplay of ‘Ramta Jogi’ have been penned by Santosh Dhanoa. Guddu himself would be seen acting in the film. Other names in the star cast are Rahul Dev, Zafar Dhillon, Girish Sahdev and Anil Grover, who is also the chief assistant director of the movie.

The film has been shot in Mumbai and parts of Punjab and the music was released recently which was getting an outstanding response all over.

Deep Sidhu said: “Such a banner, director and the whole team of this film is a dream of any new actor. I am quite excited about my debut and happy to be a part of this film industry. I am looking forward to an adventurous journey in my acting career.”

Actress Ronica Singh is all excited about her debut. She said: “I have always dreamt of being known everywhere I go.”

Guddu said, “Acting in the film was totally a new feeling for me. Also, I want to share that I got a superb team to work with. All actors are experts in themselves and know their job well. Each character of the film has been given space and the script has got a good balance. Being a director, it was easy for me to execute the film because of a well-written script.”
