Hoshiarpur: A seminar was organised by the Bharat Gaurav dedicated to the 641th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas under the leadership of chief of Bharat Gaurav and union minister Vijay Sampla. He said every person of India today was a victim of some kind of slavery. This was the reason why Indians were still trying to get the basic facilities. Sant Gurdeep Giri said, “If modern India has to touch the peak of progress, then the teachings of Guru Ravidas will have to be adopted.”

On this occasion, the Central University Himachal Pradesh’s Vice-Chancellor and Professor Kuldeep Agnihotri said Baba Sahib Dham Bhim Rao Ambedkar was a well-wisher and leader of all the Indians.

He said, “Baba sahib was inspired by the path shown by Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Ravidas and Sant Kabir to keep the country united. Inspired by the same idea, Baba Sahib adopted the process of giving equal status to all in the Constitution.—OC
