Continuing with their success streak in the CBSE class XII exam, 32 students of Police DAV Public School bagged the CGPA 10 in the class X exams, the results of which were declared today.
As many as 275 students of 24 schools in the district bagged a perfect 10 with the total perfect figures reaching over 250.
With Police DAV taking the lead, coming close on its heels, 27 students of MGN School Adarsh Nagar, 25 students of Swami Sant Dass School, 23 students each of St Soldiers Group of institutions and Innocent Hearts School, 22 students of the Apeejay School Mahavir Marg, 19 students of the DPS School have scored CGPA 10, 18 students of the MGN School Urban Estate, 17 students of the British Olivia School, 9 students (each) of the Guru Amar Das Public School, Shiv Jyoti Public School and CJS Public School, seven students of the DIPS School Jalandhar, six of the LA Blossoms School, seven from the Sanskriti KMV School, , Apeejay School Rama Mandi, Bawa Lalvani Public School, three students, each, from the Eklavya School, CT Public School and Army Public School scored a perfect 10.
Five students from Swami Sant Dass School Urban Estate and four from Lord Mahavira Jain Public School have also bagged CGPA 10.
Only one student each from Mayor World School and State Public School, scored CGPA 10.
Jubilant students of the district participated in celebrations in their schools. A festive mood prevailed in various schools as students called by the respective schools celebrated and enjoyed. Over 20 schools of the district had an amazing CGPA record. While it was the first time that some schools showed such a stupendous success, there was a downside to the success story as well, as some schools displayed a dramatic dip in the number of CGPA 10 figures.
