The countdown to year 2015 has already begun and its time now to bid a final adieu to year 2014. People are all geared up for an experience to celebrate life, liberty, spirit and to realise happiness through music and dance on the New Year’s Eve. While many of them have moved out of the city to celebrate a night of complete solace with their family away from their busy lives to some snow capped hill station, most of them are all set to join in the city decked up in twinkling lights and decorations adorning its buildings and streets to celebrate the fruitful passing of the 2014 .

Hotels, restaurants, clubs and community groups are all set to welcome party enthusiasts up in their arms by offering them a lavish menu topped by the peppy music and clubbed with loads of party gifts. The organizers are charging from Rs 1200 to 6,000 for the party. Unlimited liquor, open air candle light dinner and special prizes are some of the other highlights of the scheduled events.

Kiran Prakash, manager, Brewmasters, a microbrewery in the city, the New Year theme party ‘1 Night, 100 Millionaires’ has been planned to receive the top 100 effluent couples of the city. “At a very nominal cost of Rs 6,000 per couple, we are offering around 20 snacks with a much more elaborate main course. We also have a very exclusive Fire and Ice show to entertain our guests,” said Prakash.

While most of the celebrations are in the form of parties and with different themes, some have also offered events having no loud music or liquor.
