After it was Jalandhar’s cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who had signed for Reebok, now a city-based Indian hockey skipper, Manpreet Singh, has signed for another sportswear Adidas.

Billboards, featuring Manpreet, for the endorsement were today seen put across various parts of the city. The Billboards show Manpreet in action donning red coloured pair of shoes of the company with a tag line ‘Here to create’.

Arjuna awardee winner, he shares his surname ‘Pawar’ with Jalandhar Cantonment MLA and former Olympian Pargat Singh. Both hail from Mithapur village here.

Prior to 26-year-old hockey star, Adidas had endorsements of Asian Games athletes Hima Das, Swapna Barman and cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Rishab Pant.
