Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, students received top positions in the NTSE 2017-18 exam. Harshit Verma, Avval, Aditya Uppal and Pranav Oberoi topped their way to the national level with the highest number of candidates clearing the state level.
While Harshit Verma brought laurels to the school by bagging the first position in the city. Principal, Girish Kumar, congratulated the students and their parents.
Harjas Singh of DPS Jalandhar, also qualified the NTSE level 1. Praising Harjas for being an exemplary student of the institution CAO Colonel Maini and in charge principal Ritu Kaul congratulated the student and his parents.
Shaurya Kapoor and Sarthak Arora from the Innocent Hearts School also cleared the NTSE exam in the district.
On the other hand the government schools of the district have drawn a blank in the NTSE exams. While every year, some government schools had been clearing the exam, this year none of the students cleared the exam in the district.
Nine of the students from the Government Senior Secondary School, Adarsh Nagar - which has earlier been getting positions in NTSE – even appeared for the exam this year.Two of the school students had cleared the NTSE exam level 1–state level, last year.
