After the initiative of the state government to help the Punjabi film actor Satish Kaul, members of the Alliance Club, Phagwara, headed by president Surinder Mittal, along with Alliance District 126 NK charter district governor Gurwinder Judge visited the residence of Satya Wati, sister of the veteran actor, and met Satish Kaul yesterday.

Alliance Club president Surinder Mittal gave Rs 25,000 to Kaul.

Kaul told them that he had been living a life away from the limelight and needed help.

Mittal appealed to other social organisations to come forward to help Kaul. — OC
