Demanding restoration of old pension scheme, revision of dearness allowance and the implementation of pay commission, the members of the joint action committee of the associations of DC office employees today staged a protest at the District Administrative Complex.

The members alleged that their long-pending demands were not being fulfilled. They threatened that if their demands were not fulfilled they were be forced to resort to protest.

Sukhjit Singh, president, Tejinder Singh, general secretary, Bakshish Singh, chairman, Dinesh Kumar, senior vice-president and Meenakshi from the women wing were present.
